HUMBER COMPANY OVERVIEW SECOND HAND VESSELS COMMERCIAL RIB'S

New extra wide 11m version now available for serious offshore applications.

Humber's first wide bodied 11m RHIB (3.3m beam) was completed by Quinquari Marine North in Spring 2005. Extensive design and development produced an exceptional vessel ready for extensive sea trials and operation during the summer and autumn of 2005. There is no finer boat test ground than the Infamous Gulf of Corryvreckan, home to the World's Third Largest Whirlpool.

Powered by twin 225 Yamaha 4 strokes. Many customers, potential and current, ask us to evaluate between 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines. The only way to make valid comments is to use them ourselves. This RHIB has a top sepped of around 44 knots. Comfortable cruising speed is around 27 knots at 4,500RPM.

Ride quality and handling are exceptional. The vessel has attracted interest from local Quinquari/Humber Commercial RHIB operators. Both John Orr (River Rocket, Dunoon) and Brian Eadie (Seascape Expeditions, Ullapool) describe this RHIB as a fantastic seaboat. Skippers with Sea.fari Adventures (Oban) believe this RHIB gives both passengers and crew a higher level of security and confidence especially when the conditions at sea are unfavourable.

The new wide bodied RHIB is available for sea trials. Telephone Tony at Quinquari MarineNorth on 01852 300003 or send him an e mail.

A 10m version has just be delivered to Quinquari South and is to be fitted with a unique all acrylic see through cabin that can be removed in minutes creating the ultimate eco tourism vessel. A further 2 wide bodied RHIBs are in production.
